At The Author Encounter, we have a love for Authors and their original works. We like charm and wit coupled with your own unique perspective. All entries must have Shakespearean speech or a talking theme. Our judges will look for a fusion of rhythms, imagery, feeling, and thought. May the best poem win!

Category winners (3): $50 each

All entrants receive a 1 year Reader Level Membership to The Author Encounter

Entry fee: $15 up to 3 poem

This contest is for previously unpublished Sonnets 14 lines. Original Poetry no longer than 40 lines with a talking theme. 1 minute video entry of an original poem or sonnet with a Shakespearean flare. 

Total entries limited to 500.
