Press Release for Literary Halloween Costume Contest

October 01,2020– Community of Readers and Authors, The Author Encounter recently announced the details for their Instagram Halloween Costume Contest. The Online  competition encourages entrants to submit their best Literary Halloween costume pictures.

This year’s winner will receive a 12 month subscription to Kindle unlimited, So they can find and discover more literary Characters to love. 

“This contest was inspired by all the great literary costume ideas available on pinterest.” Says co-founder Nan Jenkins. “We at The Author Encounter thought this would be a great way  for our community of authors and readers to connect and have some fun this Halloween.”

The contest officially starts Saturday, October 17, 2020. As of that date, entrants can submit photos of themselves, their child(ren) or their pets in literary costumes to Instagram using @theauthorencounter and #theauthorencounterhcc. Registration opens October 1, 2020 Last day to enter is Thursday October 29,2020 Midnight 12 am Central. Between October 17 and 29.Each contest participant, family member and/or friend may like their posts , comment and tag people in the comments to share the fun.  The top three Post from valid entries will then be reposted to The Author Encounter Feed. The Post with the most likes by October 31, 2020 wins.

The Lucky Winner gets a whole year of kindle unlimited to read and love all the literary characters they want.
